Fast and Efficient: Opera

Friday I switched my condo board mailbox from clunky-cluttered-slow Internet Explorer to Opera. I like it. It was an easy download and is lightning quick. I could add my old mailbox to it, no trouble, no change of address. I've been searching and checking mail on it since then with no troubles.

I am still using Google Chrome for blogging. I like it too, and I'm not switching. I think it has more of the fun stuff that I'm used to, a little easier to customize. But for business, I think the Opera set-up is really good.

Probably all of you are wondering why the heck it took me so long to leave Explorer, and have had a good platform quicker. Well . . . . I'm chicken.

I don't know anything about Opera--I'll follow your link and educate myself.

Dear Slamdunk,
Apparently it will sync with most smartphones and so forth, which was why I read about it.

I hope you like it. I am enjoying it!

I'm all about the dial up telephone. Just kidding. I am still old school. You are way ahead of me.

Ann T:
There are now three browsers on my laptop--IE 8, Google Chrome and Safari.

I usually use Google Chrome but I think sometime my security package has a conflict with it. I just loaded the Safari and haven't used it much yet. A friend mentioned Opera just the other day!

Perhaps time for another browser!

Dear Momma Fargo,
I think some of this tech stuff is equivalent to wine snobbery--I just happened to have a name you didn't have!

Anyway, I was mostly just disgusted with Internet Explorer and ready for a new program.

Thanks for writing in!

Dear The Observer,
I never tried Safari. So let me know what you think of it.

I am slow to the tech stuff, for sure.

Thanks for writing in,
