Street Art: Happy Birds!

Something for you kids at heart, for those missing warm days and sunny walks, for those nursing colds and blahs and driving through snow:

This fence hides some construction--this time of a play area for kids in a skyscraper. And talk about advance billing. Somebody knew how to spread their wings over art, graffiti, and kids all at once. Love it. Something happy and sloppy and detailed at the same time.

I keep wondering if this bird has a halo.

Two more detail shots after the jump.

Love it. Have a great day, everybody!

Ok, the first word out of my mouth was..."wow"!
(and that wasn't the GOOD type of wow)

Kinda reminds me of a few nightmares I had as a child.

And those birds are LARGER than that airliner (or is that forced perspective?)

I wonder what Audubon would say?
Ornithologists of the world unite!
There is a LOT in that mural, that's for sure.
Very interesting...indeed.

Have a great weekend.

Oh well, to each our own!! Don't have any nightmares over this. They dismantled it and the playground is up!
